10 music to listen in the morning

I imagine that we are all a bit the same. To start the day well, we need to listen to music. It’s a way to get in a good mood while preparing.

Personally, in the morning I love to listen electro-house music. Soft and inspiring music. Music allows me to relax before diving into the real world. On weekends I like to listen to them while writing articles or editing my Instagram pictures. Anyway here is my music playlist to listen to in the morning.

Vegetarian soup with broccoli and Parmesan

Broccoli is a vegetable known to be bland and not tasty. However, with a few small touches of flavors, you can create a great meal !

It is a soup that is easy to make and you don’t need much ingredients. To make this soup you can find the ingredients easily at the farmer market. Moreover, it is a vegetarian soup, which is mean no meat. The positive points with this soup are that you eat a healthy dish while contributing in reducing CO2 emissions.

I urge you to reproduce this soup at home ! Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed. It’s as good as it is beautiful!

Ingredients

First of all, you should know that the recipe is separated in two parts. The first part being the base of the soup with the cooked and mixed vegetables, and the second part being the other ingredients which are added at the end to create more flavour.

Ingredients for 4 people, but you can make your own measures, depending on the flavours you want to put forward and also the quantities you prefer.

  • 1 fresh broccoli
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 2 pinches of salt (adjust as desired)
  • 250 ml water +/- depending on the thickness you want.

Other ingredients to be added to the plate (optional but recommended)

  • Pieces of bread
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Sliced radishes

The tools you need are quite simple. To make the recipe you need to cut the vegetables, cook them and mix them, but also to grate the Parmesan if it is not done.

Steps

First, you need to preheat the water in a saucepan. So, you can save time when cooking.

In the same time, you must peel all vegetables (potatoes, broccoli and garlic). For a faster and efficient cooking, it is better to cut potatoes and broccoli in pieces.

Add the chopped vegetables to the boiling water. Season and let it cook.

Once everything is cooked, mix the veggies with the cooking water and season with salt and pepper. Mix till you find the right consistency. If you want the soup to be thick don’t add much water and If you want it to be liquid you can add more water.

In parallel, cut the radishes into thin strips, make pieces of bread and prepare the Parmesan cheese. Like i said before, its optional but i recommend you 100%. Pour the soup in a bowl, and add according to your tastes and preferences, the radish slices, Parmesan cheese and a drizzle with olive oil.

Last but no least : enjoy your meal !

Don’t worry it’s as good as it is beautiful! Otherwise what are the soup recipes that you love the most?

Inspirations of March

By staying at home surfing the net, I came across some images and blog articles that made me want to try new things. To shape how I would like to live in terms of food, decoration and even activity.

Food

In terms of food, I want to try recipes based on the most natural products possible, seasonal products. What I really want to do is consume organic products.  Especially with the events around global warming, CO2 emissions, and all the effects of pesticides, it makes you want to change the way you consume.

Moreover, with the summer coming up in a few weeks, there’s nothing better than starting with summer fruits and vegetables.

Home decor

In March, with the trees who started to bloom, I feel like changing the decor. To have more vegetation in my personal space which can grow and bloom.

For now I only have 3 plants. But I can’t wait to buy more. Do you have any ideas of plants?

Beauty

I haven’t used nail polish in years. But I admit that seeing this trendy nail art, I suddenly want to reproduce it. This type of nail art is super beautiful and pretty clean. It’s like keeping the natural side but embellishing with little shapes.

Fitness

I don’t know how I found this sport, but I love watching people practicing dance pole. I think it’s super beautiful to watch and listen to. I can’t wait to try it.

Storage and cleaning

I would like to have a more natural lifestyle while living as simply as possible. That’s the reason why I started doing some research on cleaners and came across the famous vinegar and sodium bicarbonate cleaning solutions.

Which I am currently testing. I am preparing a short article on it that will be released in a few weeks.

And you what did March inspired you?

Covid-19: How can we fight against the epidemic?

The covid virus -19 appeared in China in December 2019, is in March present in the 4 corners of the world. In order to fight this epidemic, some countries have decided to take measures, in particular the total containment of populations.

In France, in order to prevent the spread of the virus, various measures have been put in place, including containment. Different sectors are at the forefront of the epidemic. This applies to sectors such as mass distribution, the medical profession and social workers. However, even if we are not on the front line, we can also play a role.

Here are some ways to help:

Donate blood or platelets

Hospitals are starting to run out of blood bags and platelets. And yet the number of people who need to receive blood is not decreasing and increasing. Know that despite confinement you can always and even more now donate blood/platelets.

It doesn’t really matter what your blood type is. In France, different places are open for the donation of blood. If you want to have different information about blood donation, you can go to the website https://dondesang.efs.sante.f

Donate money

The covid-19 epidemic affects many people. Some are affected in terms of health, but others are affected in other ways. Especially economically. Among them are victims of violence, people without a home, migrants and so on. With containment, these people are even more vulnerable because they have nowhere to go.

Making a donation of money or equipment would allow these people to enjoy an overnight stay away from their homes, meals or even to be safe.

Assist older people

With all the excitement in the stores, seniors who normally have trouble shopping have even more difficulties. Yet we can also help them.

So if you have muscle and energy to sell, go to the Civic Reserve website, so you can participate while being mentored by an organization.

Donate material

The medical profession is currently lacking in mask and hydro-alcoholic gel. If you have masks because of your profession (aesthetic centers not example), you can always give them to hospitals, pharmacies or simply to people who needs to have protection to work.

Make a housing loan

In this epidemic, some regions are more affected than others. Doctors and caregivers are even forced to travel to areas where they are not necessarily close to their homes. But they have to be housed.

If you have a second property and you don’t use it, know it’s time to make a small gesture.

Caregiver or Apprentice: Give a hand

Whether you are an apprentice caregiver or caregiver you can because of the epidemic, participate and support the medical staff. You just need to participate by checking the Health Reserve.

Stay home

For those who simply cannot or doesn’t to participate directly in this epidemic, we simply ask you stay home. That’s another way of dealing with the spread of the virus. And then there’s a lot to do at home. So you might as well take advantage of your free time to do it.
